nice, almost screwed up there
they are at university and we wanted them to be backup in case they were home on a weekend we needed an extra player
yeah this is where i see the flaw in council seeding based on "best possible lus".... although i do see why they do it
hey ya'll de doesnt mind bein moved up to d1 if m over s is not participating : B
Velocity (m/s) have confirmed that they have dropped to the RT Council.
Therefore, we have decided that the following teams will be moving up from every division:
D1: Debilitate (DE)
D2: Coastline (Co)
D3: Apocalypse (Ap)
D4: Moonblast (Mo)
D5: Venomous Thunder (Vt)
D6: Devil Angels 2 (DA2)
Some of these decisions were really tough and close calls especially the middle divisions, however, there is under a week to go for changes to happen if there are convincing opinions that the RT Council could consider.
let's show em what we're made of lads
Reasons DE shouldn't be D1
Sora can't play much due to college and work
Trevor is bagging for the first time in his life
CJ isn't even 13 yet
Rob is micless - practically disabled
Edison has been playing less now ever since the accident
SaiX has a broken AC adapter and his wii can't even turn on atm
Vincent is underwater because of Irma, who knows if he'll even have power for WL?
Maq's TV turns off because it overheats so he won't be able to see while playing
Boom has been feeling sick lately, we're not sure if it's a common cold or something more serious
Cheron was in VA2 so he has no experience playing with or against good players
Hoesay hasn't played in 3 months
Flairy only plays CT's
How many transfers do we need to make so that this doesn't happen?
Robert is having banner withdrawals please don't mind him.
I'm a fucking champion.
we won without repick...
if people can't play you transfer them out... ronak and nio can play like once since they're at college and we don't have the power to participate in d1 without them. since we didn't get seeded d1 i thought if they were home on a weekend we needed an extra player we could use them. but since they won't be here more than once it's not worth it to have them as backups if we get put in d1 with way less power.
its ok. Im a D3 player anyways
u say that every season
I mean they kinda have to. Say you have a team with 5 little jimmies who are all rated D5 and all these players are expected to play every week. However the last 3 registered are all rated D1 but aren't expected to play every week. Easy, team should be D5 because only D5 players are expected to play right? Well, what if one of the D1 players actually played one week because they're back from college or something like that. That player shouldn't be allowed to play in that low of a division. Even with the arguement stating that "they're only there for the roster spot" is still flawed. Say these players are home all the time, but prefer not to play, however a dilemma comes up where they're short a player for the week and they need one of those D1 players to participate or else they'll need to forfeit. Again they'll be out of place in the match, nearly decimating the opponents. This is why council needs to take everyone register for account. If you're supplying good players just for a roster fill up you shouldn't be so surprised that you'll be placed in a higher division.
Yeah i get it but council knows that both Ronak and Nio go to 4 year unis and don't bring their wiis with them so they won't play unless they come home for breaks. But as I said before, I understand why council does it. It makes sense, but in this particular instance I'm kinda hesitant. Each to their own I guess
Vt is fine with D5
doesn't mean they won't come home during a weekend or download Dolphin on their computer at uni (which ronak has).
well there goes one of the most balanced seasons ive seen in wl in a long time
pray for the upsets boys
Ap will try D3, DA1's japs better show up, I dont want dropouts
proof? if you can find anywhere that's been said id be glad to see it because we've always used our registered players how we said we would.
