Still just me and Nitro again. I wrote Divisions 1, 2, and 5. He wrote 3 and 4. I kinda had to rush this week, so Nitro's writing is probably 100 times better than mine. Enjoy, nonetheless. Division 1 - Matt Spoiler: svc vs FA (440-544) Svc has been dominating this division for quite some time now, so one would think that FA was going to have a rough time here. But this was proven false when they came out on top. We start in GP1 where svc finished with 1st and 4th overall, but FA managed to grab lots of middle spots, winning them the GP by a small but useful 16 points. This sure got some momentum going, which was exemplified in GP2 when FA added another 30 points to their lead. FA’s Daniel (representing the im FAt AF mii) topped this GP with a solid score of 37. Svc must have lost lots of motivation at this point, because 5 out of 6 FA players made it in the top half of the results screen in GP3. This GP was won by 58 for FA, which gave them a 104-point overall win. Alex MVP’d the war with 104 points despite disconnecting multiple times throughout the match. Spoiler: DVP vs WEC (511-473) With both of these teams near the bottom of Division 1, it was going to be interesting to see how this match would play out. Things went very nicely for DVP in GP1 when they got 2nd-5th overall and sent WEC into a large deficit. WEC got bottom 4 here, and they were immediately down by 60 points. In GP2, WEC really tried to redeem themselves. Through lots of hard work, they were only able to win the 2nd GP by 14, so they were still down by 46. It was gonna take a lot to come out with a win, but DVP refused to go down like that. WEC won GP3 by 8, but that wasn’t enough to come back. DVP’s Blade MVP’d the war with 98 points, scoring an excellent 40 points for his team in GP3. Spoiler: DY vs Mp (437-547) DY had yet to win any wars so far in Season 5, while Mp was settled in the top of the division. GP1 went quite well for Mp, as they won it by 36, and two of their players broke 40. They won GP2 by even more, which made their overall lead worth a nice 76 points. Once again, two of Mp’s players scored over 40 here. GP3 didn’t go much better for DY, as they still lost it by 34, and only one of their players were able to break 30. The war ended in a 110-point loss for DY, and three players all from Mp scored over 100 overall. Division 2 - Matt Spoiler: GT vs mw (472-512) Coming out with a win here was crucial for both teams, as GT was in need of a win to come out of their losing streak, and mw needed a win to stay alive towards the top of the division. Things kicked off in GP1 when mw’s Dayem and GT’s Dusse both scored 40. These numbers sure didn’t lie about how close this GP was, as mw only won it by 10, which GT could easily come back from. But GP2 wasn’t nearly as close, because Dayem scored very highly once again. In fact, Dayem scored as high as you can score, winning all 4 races and pulling out an incredible 60. This really helped mw out as they won the 2nd GP by 68, putting them into a 78-point lead. GT was able to shave off a bit of mw’s lead in the 3rd GP by scoring 38 more points than mw. However, this wasn’t enough to take the win, and mw won it by 40. Dayem unsurprisingly MVP’d the war, scoring an exceptional 127. Spoiler: Pm vs ARC (498-486) Everyone’s been sleeping on Pm in this division, but they’ve clearly improved a ton which they further showed in this tight match versus ARC. Tight indeed, as GP1 resulted in a tie between the two teams, instantly keeping the match at a deadlock. GP2 put ARC into a comfortable 38-point lead, with Tomsu scoring 49. But this wasn’t enough to keep Pm from winning. With an amazing race on CC due to some disconnections on ARC's side, followed by a great race on dEA, Pm won GP3 by 48, taking the win by 12 points and giving ARC the BP. Cosmo closed out the war with 54 points in a single GP, but Tomsu from ARC scored 117 overall, making himself the MVP. Spoiler: GEN vs wf (512-472) GEN had been dominating this division already, and this match just added to their lead. Similar to the Pm vs ARC war, things kicked off with a tie GP1. Surprisingly, yet unsurprisingly at the same time, Pyrax was already on 53 points after just those first 4 races. In GP2, GEN took a 16-point lead, as Cynda topped the GP with 37. Wf had a chance to come back, but it didn’t go as planned in GP3 when they lost it by 24. Pyrax still scored 54 in the final GP, however, giving him an outstanding 146 points overall. Division 3 - Nitro Spoiler: >>-> vs AR (559-425) This war was the battle to see which team would take their first win for the season. Aerilate provided a solid LU consisting of Azur, Marc, Dashi, Dark, Aexo, and Chad, and AR using Power, Jerem, Roma, Benji, Etoiles, Exo, and Melwest as a sub. GP1 was a fairly close GP with Aerilate gaining 18 points on Alliance Rainbow. In this GP, Azur scored a wonderful 47 points, with AR's Power close behind with 44. GP2 Aerilate took off running with their lead and gained a massive 68 points on the Frenchies. This GP Dashi took the MVP with 41 points, and almost all the rest of Aerilate's lineup scoring 30+ for the GP. The final GP Aerilate kept up their fantastic pace and gained another 48 points on Alliance Rainbow. In the final GP, Azur redeemed himself by MVPing for the GP yet again with 43 points, and Marc just a point behind him scoring 42. The war resulted with Aerilate winning by an immense 134 points, gaining their first win for the season, having half of their LU break 100 and Azur scoring a huge 129 for the MVP. Power was Alliance Rainbow's MVP with a great score of 100, but the rest of AR scoring less than 80 points. Spoiler: HB vs HD (469-515) This war gave HD a good, quick recovery from their close loss to Serene Grace last week. In this war, High Definition provided a LU consisting of Nicola, Dugo, Kyle, Rookie, Luke, and Zap, and HB used an LU consisting of Snickers, Kidou, Jojow, Julot, Avo, Aurel, and LG as a sub. GP1 was very close, with High Definition gaining a mere 8 points on HB. This GP resulted with the underrated Avo taking the MVP and scoring a fantastic 45 points, with HD's Luke scoring a surprising 41 and taking the MVP for them. GP2 had the biggest +/- gap, with HD gaining another 22 points on Hearts Brothers. This GP Kyle of HD almost got a perfect GP, scoring a nearly flawless 57, and Julot MVPing for HB and getting 40. GP3 was yet again a fairly close GP with HD gaining another 16 points on HB. This GP was fairly close in individual points with both Jojow and Avo of HB scoring 33, And HD's Nicola just behind them, scoring 32 for the GP. The MVP of the war was HD's Kyle, scoring 108, and HB's Avo just a point behind him, scoring 107. Spoiler: sG vs ytp (494-490) [long af review thanks nitro] The closest match of the week as a whole, this war was so intense it came down to the last race. A on-the-spot decision had to be made by sG when Bryce's internet took a dive and Damian had to sub in before the war had even started. The LU for sG was then confirmed to be Damian, Lez, Miu, Sgt. Guy, Blaze, and Articuno. The LU Team Poop used consisted of Digdig, Spudd, Asshu, Alex, MiCka, and Shy Guy. GP1 was very close with sG gaining a mere 4 points on Team Poop, but that would make all the difference in the end. This GP was very close as far as individuals went, with Asshu being the MVP getting 38 points, and half of ytp's LU getting 30+ and 4/6 of sG's LU getting 30+. This GP Serene Grace got 1st every race, along with spots such as 1 3 4 8 were common for them in this GP. GP2 ytp didn't give up in the slightest and gained 38 points on sG, leaving Serene Grace with not much hope. This GP the MVP was yet again 38 points, obtained by ytp's MiCka. This GP ytp also had the advantage with track picks, having almost if not all of their tracks picked for the GP. GP3 Serene Grace didn't give up either and regained their win over ytp, gaining 38 points on them to cancel out GP2. The GP looked like it would go well after a top 3 on Mute City, but Ice Ice Outpost came with a top 4 by ytp. If that wasn't bad enough, Blaze got 2 disc errors, resulting in Nitro (me lol !) having to sub for the last race. sG still managed to get solid spots on rDDD, but even with that they were down by 32 going into the last race. However, not all was lost in the slightest. By the time the end of the last race had rolled around, sG was in 1 3 4 5 8 11. Articuno then got triple reds on the last box in 3rd, resulting in ytp's second place being redded into oblivion, resulting in a bottom 4 for Team Poop. Luckily for sG, this race was a win by 38 points, which meant that they had won by 4 points. The final GP was the only GP where a player broke 40, with Lez scoring 43 for the GP, giving him a total of the heartbreaking 99. The MVP of the match was ytp's MiCka with 103 points, and sG's Sgt. Guy just 2 points behind him scoring 101. May sG keep their win streak as long as possible and may ytp have the best of luck for the rest of the season. Division 4 - Nitro Spoiler: WK vs O (554-430) This match was going to be interesting, with Wii Kings hoping to have a good recovery from their heartbreaking loss to Hyrule Clan last week and Oracles wishing to keep their win streak up after brutally busting up DY Omega last week. Wii Kings used a LU consisting of Kyoto, Alen, Haupi, Patrico, Desert, and Phil, and Oracles using Ky, Sam, Mick , Flammie, Mitch, and Lucid. GP1 Wii Kings demolished Oracles with a +86 GP. In this GP WK's Kyoto took the MVP, getting 46 for the GP, along with WK's Desert getting 41. GP2 Oracles picked it up a bit and got only a -20 GP. In this GP Desert kept his amazing pace and scored a massive 48 for the GP, with Phil not too far behind getting 40. The final GP was a fairly close one with WK gaining 18 more points on Oracles, leaving Wii Kings with an immense 114 point win. This GP Mitch of Oracles gave out what he's known for and got 37 to MVP the GP, giving him 86 total for the war, which was just one point behind the Oracles MVP, Ky. The MVP of the whole war was WK's Desert, scoring a massive 127, with Kyoto not too far behind scoring 111. Spoiler: ARC vs DY (582-402) This match was the first and sadly only match between what were probably the 2 biggest rivals in the division. ARC Terra used an LU consisting of Joe, MrC, Sayan, Speck, Gladeon, and Speck, with DY Omega using Joe, Joel, Jonas, Dragon, Nebs, Rain, and Aquas as a sub. GP1 had the smallest +/- difference of the whole war, with ARC Terra gaining 38 points on Dynamite. Sayan dropped a hot 57 this GP, And DY's Nebs taking the 2nd place spot with a surprising 38. Sadly by now, DY Omega was playing with one player down, and the war was a 5v6 with a bot. GP2, ARC took off with their lead and gained a large 58 points on DY. Sayan kept up his amazing pace and scored another 49 points, giving him almost 110 after only 2 GPs! GP3 ARC got another boost with an immense +83 GP over Dynamite Omega. This GP Sayan MVP'd yet again with 38 points, giving him an backbreaking total of 144, plus half of ARC breaking 100 for the war. Dynamite Omega's MVP for the war was Rain, getting a total of 86, and both Joel and Nebs just behind him getting 85, and Joe doing worse than usual, getting only 60 points for a total. Division 5 - Matt Spoiler: Snc vs R (562-402) R and Snc have been rivals for a while now, likely due to both of the teams having a similar skill level & they were both made around the same time. Snc truly proved their dominance throughout the entire war though, winning GP1 by over 40 points and getting top 4 overall. Snc added 60 more points to their already massive lead in GP2. Ace brought his Shy Guy all the way up to 51 points in just this GP alone. GP3 went just as well, as Snc won it by 38. Due to R’s Sinic repicking MKS in the last GP, Snc actually won the entire war by 160 points, truly putting this rivalry to a finish. Spoiler: YF vs An (587-397) Both of these teams were at the bottom of the division before the match, but YF really showed up here. In GP1, they took an immediate 50 point lead, putting them in a great mindset for the rest of the war. Despite YF’s dominance, An Maci was still able to pull out 48 points, MVP’ing the GP. YF won GP2 by 50 points as well. Nearing the end of the war, YF destroyed in the 3rd GP, when they won it massively by 90. Maci from An MVP’d the war with a solid 125 points. Thanks for reading! Feel free to give feedback or point out any mistakes, the Media Team is 100% open to that. Spoiler: BONUS - Interview with Essency Ridge: Since our rivalry is strong. We knew we were gonna be up in a challenge. We did about 7 wars on Saturday before the match in the night. 8 including a Japanese war for croissant (who is Chinese). For two hours before the match we teamed in a ww. Before the match started we all knew this was for fun and to not rage (which we didn't and probably one of the reasons why we won the match). Since Rated R is our rival we knew what tracks to pick to throw them off (Bone Dry Dunes, Dragon Driftway, and Our favorite Ribbon Road). Lastly we was mainly surprised and happy that we barely teamraped each other as we never can call for wars. Ace: for Snc it was pretty $wagtastic :v Teamplay was well, no worries or anything before match (since Bridge didn't fall asleep this time like last week (facepalm) ) so yeah just a solid performance imo (mm) (monkey) Ace: also, the match was already decided by this time but dDD (last race) was bad D: and for good tracks I would say BDD in gp1 was good top 4 It got us in great spots for the rest of Gp and so on !!
