They were out of resets and reset when Simon dc'd on voting screen of race 9. Then as the race started the host (Futile) reset the room and he showed on results, however Simon did not (pic can be found above). Due to the fact they were out of resets, the race counts and Su will recieve a -20 penalty, from what I understand.
GGs to Su, was enjoyable apart from the multiple dc's. Good Luck in the rest of the season and see you week 8!

Good Games, it's a shame the final score doesn't reflect how close and intense this war actually was (lolgp3). Well played nonetheless, and good luck in future matches.

GG's, well played. I think we raced well but got unlucky in some instances (BCWii was a heartbreaker for me :()

Did Vincent even make his decision on the matter? He never told me/us if he did but I could care less.

    See you guys Week 8.

I know we're bad but do you have to point it out on your stream, it really offends me :( I cry irl :(

I came to the decision that the Koopa Cape race does count. You can pm me on Skype for further details on that, sorry for not telling you. The rules dont say anything regarding to this exact situation but they are sort of implied. Hopefully we can get a future rule to address this situation so this kind of thing doesnt happen again.

Stop crying it makes you stutter.

Don't blame the registration admins for doing their job. The staff as a whole approved of it (or the majority rather).

Wait, what? So you're counting and a race were we had to 3v5 and a penalty? I'm not salty, I'm just think it's weird you're counting both.

GGs wZ2. I can confirm Wally's condi's, and Tommy can confirm mine. It was WAY closer that I thought it would ever be.

    1. You were out of resets, that's you're one problem. It's weird because we never saw you guys actually dc, you just closed room between results and track pick twice.
    2. You didn't have to 3v5, your host reset the room too late. Coulda been 4v5 :D

    Essay time ayyy

You're making a mistake; rules say you can reset twice without getting a penalty, the rules do not say you cannot reset once again. We could have reset 15 times that war, and we would have gotten 13x(-20) for that. There is no such rule saying that you can only reset twice.
Kirito and Simon DC'ed right after the results btw. So when Simon DC'ed at voting screen, he said to Futile reset, and we were discussing if we should or not, then we decided we should. So we wanted to reset, but because of our discussion Futile reset too late so the race did start. We wanted to get that penalty, we did not want to race that race 4v5 nor did we want to race it 3v5. So we ended up doing the 3v5 which could have, been worst case scenario, a top 5 for you guys, making us lose 41 points, then we would also get the -20 because Futile reset, so that means we would have gotten -61 for 1 race. Fair? Nope lmao.

So basically you're counting a 3v5 race, WE DID NOT WANT TO RACE, and you're giving us a penalty aswell. Dude, come on, it's clear KC race shouldn't count; just because it's not literally in the rules (fix this before next week, CSL staff), doesn't mean you cannot use your brain and common sense to not count it.

We lost 49 points because of that race, making us need to catch up 59 points in 3 races. If the race wouldn't have counted, we would have been down 30 points with 4 races left, changing the game dramatically.

Basically, best solution would be redoing GP3 with us having that penalty, but of course wZ2 wouldn't accept that because 'they won'. GGs nonetheless, was fun until GP3.

EDIT: I just read first post, once again, there is no rule saying that you cannot reset 3 times, there is a rule that says when you reset the third time, a penalty will be given. So because we were out of resets, it does not mean the race counts.

I mean I'm pretty sure quinten is technically right, you're allowed 2 resets and then any 'resets' wanted after is a -20, not a 'nah we're playing the race anyway' but the wars been played so there's not much to do about it unless people want to give out strikes rofl

It would have changed the outcome completely, but yeah you're right.
